Welcome to Filename.bot ("we," "our," "us"). By accessing or using our service, which allows users to upload files and have them automatically renamed using AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our service.

Use of Our Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use our service. By using our service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

Account Registration

To use certain features of our service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information as necessary to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activities or actions under your account.

User Responsibilities

You agree to use our service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Upload, post, or transmit any files that contain viruses, trojan horses, worms, or any other harmful or destructive elements.
• Use our service in any manner that could interfere with, disrupt, negatively affect, or inhibit other users from fully enjoying our service.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

File Processing

By uploading files to our service, you grant us the right to process these files using our AI algorithms. You retain all ownership rights in your files, and we do not claim any ownership over your files. Please note that some contents of the files may be sent to the OpenAI API for processing. For more information, please refer to OpenAI's Terms of Service.

Payments

We use Stripe for payment processing. By using our service, you agree to Stripe’s Services Agreement and Privacy Policy. You agree to pay all fees and charges associated with your use of our service in accordance with the pricing and payment terms presented to you.

Privacy

Your use of our service is also governed by our Data Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using our service, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described in the Data Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

Ownership

We and our licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to our service, including all related intellectual property rights. Our service is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use our service for your personal, non-commercial use.

• Your use of or inability to use our service;
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein;
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our service;
• Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our service by any third party;
• Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through our service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Filename.bot, its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of and access to our service;
• Your violation of any term of these Terms;
• Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right;
• Any claim that your use of our service caused damage to a third party.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within Germany for the purpose of litigating all such claims or disputes.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
